Description

The SC/UPC fiber optic field connectors are used for connecting fiber optic cables and for maintenance repairs at various network levels. Manual polishing of the connector ends or splicing on site is no longer necessary. The mechanical splicing technology ensures precise fiber alignment and provides instant, low-loss termination for single-mode optical fibers. The achieved attenuation is no higher than 0.3 dB. The connectors can be used in all optical networks where a UPC connector is required. They are suitable for optical cabling in primary/secondary/tertiary cabling and for use in FTTx networks.

Check cables regularly for visible damage such as cracks, kinks or signs of wear. Defective cables should be replaced immediately.
