Organize server cabinet with standard patch panels
On standard patch panels, an RJ45 patch cable from the switch is connected to the panel on one side. An installation cable is then connected on the other side. In this way, a number is given to the cable. By making this number correspond with the number on the wall outlet in the designated room, it is quickly visible which cable belongs to which room. This way, you keep your server cabinet organized and clear with standard patch panels.

Standaard patchpanelen worden gebruikt voor het ordenen en overzichtelijk houden van de verschillende snoeren in de 19 inch patchkast of serverkast. In de serverkast komen vaak veel snoeren voor, door deze snoeren overzichtelijk te ordenen in de patchkast, worden er fouten gemakkelijk voorkomen.
Serverkast ordenen met standaard patchpanelen
Op standaard patchpanelen wordt aan de ene zijde een RJ45 patchkabel van de switch op het paneel aangesloten. Aan de andere kant wordt er vervolgens een installatiekabel aangesloten. Op deze manier wordt er een nummer gegeven aan de kabel. Door dit nummer te laten corresponderen met het nummer op de wall outlet in de daarvoor bestemde kamer, is er snel te zien welke kabel bij welke ruimte hoort. Zo houdt u uw serverkast geordend en overzichtelijk met standaard patchpanelen.
